We're thrilled to unveil the latest update to Insight Cloud, scheduled for release on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 6:00 PM EST. This release brings new features, enhancements, and improvements to elevate your experience with our Insight Cloud platform.
API Token Management
Seek Build Tool (SBT) users can now manage their API tokens in Insight Cloud. This feature allows users to create, view, and delete API tokens. API tokens are used to authenticate with the Insight Cloud API and can be used to perform app-building and publishing tasks.
Install Wizard Simplification
The app installation process has been simplified. The app installation wizard now only requires users to map the app’s declared data sources to their database tables. Once the mappings are submitted, Insight Cloud will begin the app deployment process, but it will not trigger an initial app run. Users can now go into their variants to configure app parameters before running it the first time.### Bugs and Improvements
- The organization capability toggles now updates without a browser refresh
- The logo flickering issue is now resolved
- Introduced a scrollable popover for listing org app access
- More extensive encryption for all sensitive data at rest
- Consumers no longer see extra apps during app installation
